the mansion is really well kept, feels loved, and the staff are super friendly. my tiny room was clean and tidy, with enough surfaces to keep my stuff. the open window was chill enough for a hot august day and breakfast was way better than what i expected. it's just a short walk to king's parade, which is a huge plus!
the room was really small, and the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. also, there was some noise from other guests, which made it a bit hard to sleep.

We had an amazing time here with friends! The location is perfect for exploring parks and taking a guided river tour in punting. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful, and while breakfast wasn't provided, there are excellent cafes nearby. Highly recommend checking out the local attractions and dining options!
The only downside was some noise from the road, especially since our room faced that way. It wasn't a huge issue at night when things quieted down, but it was noticeable during the day.

Consider asking about the nearby cafes for breakfast options. some offer delightful local specialties that are a great alternative to the hotel breakfast.

I had a great time here! The room was clean, and I especially enjoyed the powerful shower with great water pressure. The breakfast was fantastic too, featuring a generous selection of pastries and fresh fruit. The location was ideal, allowing us to walk to many attractions with ease. the limited parking space was a bit of a hassle during our stay.

Had a blast with friends exploring the area! We enjoyed a guided river tour in a punt, and visited parks where summer fairs were happening. Hotel was in a great spot to walk to everything. The staff was super accommodating, and breakfast was a real treat with plenty of choices.
Parking was a bit tricky as there’s limited space around the hotel.

Nice stay with a good vibe
I was on the 2nd floor and the heat was crazy! Spent way too much time outside. The staff was super friendly, especially the guy at the reception. The bathroom could’ve used a good clean, though. They had a chill bar/lounge area which was nice to hang out in. decent spot for the price!

Lovely stay with a few minor bumps!
We enjoyed our brief visit, especially the clean, spacious room. The nearby pub was a pleasant surprise. Parking can be tricky. seek street spots early or use nearby lots. Don't expect tranquility due to street noise, but overall a great base for exploring Cambridge!

It was just a strong match for getting around the area in Cambridge with attractive and competitive value for money. The breakfast had a really good selection, with fresh fruits and tasty pastries. Avoid heavy bags as there are lots of steep stairs.

The location is prime, right by significant landmarks, giving easy access to the city’s historical charm. The rooms offer a clean, compact experience, with reliable hot water when you need to refresh after a long day.
Stairs can be a challenge, especially for those with mobility issues. some rooms are located down narrow spiral staircases that lack handrails. The furnishings might seem dated—several items in my room had chips or signs of wear. The bathroom could use a thorough cleaning, particularly at the seals and fixtures, which felt neglected. And if you're on the larger side, don't expect roomy towels—they're quite modest in size, possibly leaving you wanting more coverage after a shower.
