the mansion is really well kept, feels loved, and the staff are super friendly. my tiny room was clean and tidy, with enough surfaces to keep my stuff. the open window was chill enough for a hot august day and breakfast was way better than what i expected. it's just a short walk to king's parade, which is a huge plus!

I was on the 2nd floor and the heat was crazy! Spent way too much time outside. The staff was super friendly, especially the guy at the reception. The bathroom could’ve used a good clean, though. They had a chill bar/lounge area which was nice to hang out in. decent spot for the price!

The furnishings might seem dated—several items in my room had chips or signs of wear. The bathroom could use a thorough cleaning, particularly at the seals and fixtures, which felt neglected. And if you're on the larger side, don't expect roomy towels—they're quite modest in size, possibly leaving you wanting more coverage after a shower.
